Join us for the EMNLP 2026 Social Event, an evening celebrating Hungary through food, music, culture, and time together with colleagues from around the world. The evening is designed as a relaxed celebration rather than a formal gala. Enjoy dinner, Hungarian-inspired experiences, live entertainment, and an international party atmosphere as the night builds.

Please wear your EMNLP 2026 conference badge. Badges are required for admission and will be scanned as you enter the Social Event.

Event Schedule

18:30 Doors Open and Dinner. Settle in, connect with colleagues, and enjoy the international buffet.
19:15 A Budapest Moment. A short featured performance inspired by Hungary, contemporary, welcoming, and designed for an international audience.
19:30 Live Music, Set 1. International favorites and dance-floor classics.
20:15 DJ and Social Time. A mix of global pop, dance, K-pop, Latin, EDM, and crowd favorites.
20:45 Live Music, Set 2. The band returns as the evening moves fully onto the dance floor.
21:30 DJ Finale. One last stretch of music and dancing before the evening closes.
22:00 Social Event Ends. Please follow onsite signage and transportation instructions for departure.
